At the TMS 2006 conference held in San Antonio, R&D Carbon presented with DUBAL a joint paper about the "Dynamic Process Optimization (DPO) in the Paste Plant" . This paper illustrates how the DPO carried out at DUBAL lead to substantial re-occuring savings for the smelter by pitch reduction, production increase and anode quality improvement.
