In May 2017, R&D Carbon realised a complete maintenance of the very well-equipped laboratory of Alba aluminium in Bahrain.
Additional Equipment for RDC’s Firing System at KAS - Pavlodar Aluminium Smelter

In November two additional cooler ramps and one burner bridge were completed successfully. The burner bridge is designed to operate with heavy fuel oil under extreme environmental conditions. Thanks to the smooth teamwork between Riedhammer and RDC the equipment could be delivered ahead of schedule.
The 1st User Meeting attracted a lot of interest among the customers of R&D Carbon who use our products and services.

Our Manager of Carbon Test Equipment Mr. Ali Dekkiche have realised a maintnance of the laboratory of Shandong Nanshan Aluminium.

The annual maintenance of the laboratoy of Dubai Aluminium is completed in November 2017.

Trimet Hamburg has successfully started up a Waterless Anode Cooling system developed by R&D Carbon Ltd. and built by Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH.
Mrs Floriane Comby, Carbon Test Equipment Engineer of R&D Carbon was impressed by the laboratory staff at Press Metal Bintulu in Malaysia which is enthusiastic and very skilled.
Mr. Lionel Bovier, Manufacturing Manager Carbon Test Equipment of R&D Carbon, has successfully conducted the annual maintenance service at Chalco Shanxi Huaze in China during September 2017.
EMAL (EGA) has modified furnaces in order to accommodate larger anodes. Within the framework of this modification, R&D Carbon has modernized the coolers for the 8 fires with the goal to provide the required additional cooling capacity. Peter Sulger leading the project for R&D Carbon could count on the highly motivated team of EMAL who has successfully finished the furnace upgrade at mid of this year
R&D Carbon announces the retirement of Mr. Pierre Eichenberger after 29 years of service within our company.
